The Master Suite
The romantic master suite features a 20-foot vaulted ceiling and large windows overlooking the Ottawa river.
Enjoy some quiet time in the private sitting area or private ensuite shower before spending the night in a plush queen bed with extra pillows.
Find two luxurious robes and spa slippers in the large walk-in closet.
Kitchen and Dining
The large, open-concept kitchen is the heart of the cottage.
High-end appliances, knives and cookware make preparing meals a truly enjoyable experience. Cook your masterpiece on the professional gas range, large oven, or outside on the premium grill with side-burner.
Have a quick meal at the five-person eating bar, or take dinner in the dining room overlooking the beautiful Ottawa river.
During summer months, you can also take your meal to the outdoor dining area on the large front deck.
Indoor Living
Two large indoor living areas offer ample seating for conversations, board games, or enjoying your morning coffee.
Each living area features a beautiful gas fireplace and a 65″ flat-screen TV equipped with a smart remote and hundreds of channels, including sports and movies.
Guest Rooms
Two guest rooms feature a comfortable queen bed with extra pillows, a large closet, and a remote-controlled ceiling fan.
The bunk room includes two twin-sized bunk beds (4 beds in total) and a large closet.
The basement living area includes a queen pull-out sofa bed with extra pillows and linens.
Guests have easy access to a washroom including a shower and an oversized soaker tub.
Outdoor Living
The property includes two fire pits; the larger riverfront fire pit is perfect for calm nights without wind, and the smaller, more private fire pit in the back yard can be lit nearly anytime.
Both fire pits are surrounded by comfortable adirondack chairs, and have enough chopped wood and kindling to keep you warm all night.
The wrap-around back deck is surrounded by a lush forest and includes a conversation area with gas heater that lights with a push of a button.
The larger front deck faces the water, and includes a lounge area with sectional sofas and umbrella.
By the Water
Fill the cooler and spend your days by the water. It’s just steps from the chalet, and perfect for the whole family.

Chalet Buckingham is located on the north bank of the Ottawa river, just five minutes from the Quyon ferry, and less than one hour from Ottawa.
Your trip to the cottage is a picturesque drive through the Gatineau hills, or a rural drive through the Ontario countryside and a quick ferry ride.
